Spyker

The launch website for the Spyker C8 Preliator XXV Coupé, made at The Brink Agency. The car is presented as a day of ownership in scroll-driven cinematic chapters, alongside a horizontal heritage timeline, a boutique and a real-time 3D configurator for the 25 cars being built. It was an Orpetron Site of the Day in September 2026.

A day behind the wheel

The C8 is told as one day of ownership: Lake Como at 08:00, the Stelvio Pass at 14:00 and Verona at 21:00. Scrolling drives the film, so the morning letterbox opens and the camera glides across the villa forecourt to the car.

From morning to evening

Each chapter is a scroll-scrubbed film. The car orbits beside a drawer of design notes, the afternoon plays as a short cinematic on the Stelvio hairpins, the evening opens in Verona, and the day closes on a Spyker mark drawn on the steering wheel.

The teal C8 on the Lake Como villa forecourt as a white drawer of design notes slides in. The car orbits from front to rear while the cards glide from Colour with depth to Drawn from flight.

The Performance drawer wipes away as the afternoon film fills the screen: the blue C8 accelerates round a Stelvio hairpin, a copper wheel spins in close-up and flames flicker from the exhausts.

The Verona 21:00 title card gives way to the car's bronze grille and red tail lights, then the red C8 drives across a piazza past the lit arcades of the amphitheatre.

The camera pushes in on the steering wheel as the letterbox closes, a white Spyker script draws itself on the hub, and a ring of photo tiles blooms around the invitation to become one of 25 owners.

The 3D configurator

The configurator renders the car in real time with WebGL. Start lifts the letterbox and flies the camera to the hero view; hotspots open sheets of paint, wheel, caliper and leather options, and each choice blends onto the car as the camera moves between body, wheel and cabin.

The configurator's letterboxed gate: Start is clicked, the bars slide away and the camera arcs from the front of the teal C8 to its three-quarter hero view as the price, step menu and hotspots appear.

The Body Paint hotspot opens the swatch sheet, and the car changes from Quail Green to Glacier White, Malibu Sunset and Fire Red.

The camera flies from the exterior past the wing mirror into the quilted Cognac cabin, then the Leather Colour sheet turns the whole interior Ruby Red.

The Wheels hotspot pushes the camera in to the front wheel; the rose-gold rim turns black and the brake caliper yellow.

Finding your way

A frosted chapter overview lets visitors drag through the whole day, the menu hands over to the next page with the Spyker logo drawn on white, and Heritage runs as a horizontal timeline from 1880 that folds into an overview strip.

On the Stelvio drive the day dial is clicked: the page frosts over into the chapter overview, the playhead is dragged from afternoon into evening, and the page lands in Verona.

The menu opens over the home hero with staggered links. Heritage is clicked, and the Spyker logo draws on white as the page changes to the Heritage timeline.

The Heritage timeline glides sideways from 1880 to a full-screen 1898 photograph of the Golden State Coach, which shrinks into an overview strip of the years that follow.
